If everything goes as per plan, Sony Ericsson is going to unveil its PlayStation mobile handset for the first time to the world during Cebit 2011, mobile phone industry event scheduled during March of 2011. Sony Ericsson is planning to position it as technology oriented mobile phone upon which Businessmen and Women will rely upon.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro is expected to strong and durable handset from Sony Ericsson, which will inherit the slide out QWERTY keypad from its predecessor Sony Ericsson Vivaz. The slide out QWERTY key pad of its earlier version was more known for its ergonomic design, which made texting more comfortable. Only evident downside of the handset is its Symbian Mobile operating system, which reduces the accuracy of its touch screen and makes it more uneasy while browsing and navigating through menus.

One more time, Sony Ericsson has delayed the release of its Yendo Walkman handset, which initially slated to be released in November and now it is set to release in February.  Company has cited unspecified reasons for delay.

The Yendo is Sony Ericsson’s yet another Android based handset, but first under its Walkman brand. Living up to its brand image, the main focus of the handset is on Music. Sony Ericsson positions it to be unique handset with unique blend of music, Social Networking and Communication all enclosed in one colorful phone.  The handset uses its successful four-corner UI, which is used in Sony Ericsson Xperia phones.

Dell Streak is all set to catch up with its rivals who have already moved up to Android 2.2 also known as Froyo though there is no official update yet about when exactly it is going to happen. O2 had recently tweeted on its Twitter page that the Dell Streak is going to get Froyo this week.

The 5-inch Dell Streak Tablet-cum-Smartphone was released in the UK in June on O2’s airwaves with Google’s Android 1.6 OS. It was then upgraded to Android 2.1 aka Eclair. However, it was not able to view the web in full while devices which use Froyo are able to do so, thanks to Flash support.

The Dell Streak is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash having a front and back lens, a 5-inch 800×480 pixel screen and multitouch functions.

The handset which is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor comes with an in built Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity along with 2GB of data storage and 30-pin docking connector.

Samsung Galaxy Tab, Archos Internet Tablets, and Viewsonic Viewpad are some of the Streak’s competitors who already have Froyo on.

Nexus S has made much early appearance than expected on Carphone Warehouse expected. Recently tariffs of this much awaited handset was announced and release date was not known at that time and to give a surprise touch in the form of Christmas deals, Carphone Warehouse has started take pre-orders and expects them to be shipped by Christmas time.

The handset, which is built by Samsung and based on Google concept, is much awaited Android based smartphone. After Orange, O2 has announced availability of latest Android 2.1 upgrade for existing Sony Ericsson X10 from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1, which is also known as Éclair. This upgrade will bring in Multi Touch capability for Sony Ericsson handsets.

Vodafone has recently announced its plan for iPad, which includes a subsidized and cheaper price for the device, whose cost is being absorbed into monthly charges. In other terms monthly charges are pegged at a bit higher rate. Though exact details of the plan are yet need to be out, Vodafone is expecting to roll out it as an offer to its customer in early next year. Initially plans were to roll it out as festive offer, but now it seems will be happening only in the next year.

Vodafone has its well established presence across Europe. It is planning for this new offer by leveraging its Group operates across European. The plan named “Vodafone Data Traveler” will allow users to use 25 MB of data per day for free across European territories.

It comes with both daily plan and monthly plan. While daily plan allows occasional travelers to subscribe for the plan on need basis, monthly plan allows regular travelers to subscribe to the plan on monthly basis. Daily plan allows users to access the plan at a cost of £ 2 per day on the other hand monthly plans allows them to access the plan for a month period at £ 10 per month.

Samsung has announced a new update to its existing Bada handset platform, which will increase the performance of its bada handset platform. This move is in response to Samsung’s first bada developer challenge.
