Finnish Mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia is reportedly on track to unveil a new array of handsets very soon. Nokia C6-01 is one amongst them, which has already got leaked.
The C6 slider Smartphone launched last month runs on Symbian S60 5th edition platform. However, the new C6-01 handset would most probably be powered by the Symbian 3 platform. Rumours are agog that the yet-to-be-announced handset would come with enhancements like an 8-megapixel camera.
There is also quite a chance that the Nokia C6-01 would end up as a different mobile from Nokia C6-00. The Sliding QWERTY keypad might no more be there and the handset would apparently be a touch-screen phone.
Nokia has however made no other details available though there is a good chance that the official announcement could be out in mid-September.
For that matter, there is a good chance that Nokia would announce the handset in London at the Nokia World 2010 event on 14th of September. And we need to live with the leaked details and couple of photos till then, thanks to Engadget.
The Nokia C6-01 would hit the shelves as a middle-rung device though we have no information about when it would hit the markets and at what price tags.
