HTC ChaCha

HTC is putting its weight behind ChaCha to make sure the boost would get the model back on track. ChaCha has been given a processor boost which is adding fuel to the argument that it must have performed below expectations in pre-release testing.

The news was put on net by online retailer Clove which spotted that the listed specifications of ChaCha feature an 800 MHz processor. This is a change from the 600 MHz offering that was seen at Mobile World Congress this year.

There could be some deviation in the models or any other facets but it can be safely assumed that it would Android 2.3 powered platform underneath this phone.

The ChaCha, going in the same way as HTC Salsa, has a dedicated Face book key. This allows users to share webpages, pictures and tunes in the social networking site, all at the push of a button.

Probably all this along with the HTC brand has got Three going – the network is planning to launch ChaCha from today. The offer for the new phone is at £20 per month or on PAYG for £249.
