Motorola Xoom

Motorola has come with an amazing offer for its Xoom customers of UK and Ireland who laid their hands on the tablet in July. The company will be providing a free wireless keyboard as well as a mouse worth £74.99 to such users.

What all is needed for the customers is to just send a proof of Motorola purchase so as to receive the accessories. However, this deal is said to exist only till the stock lasts.

The good thing is that the keyboard is in tune with most of the other Android powered devices from Motorola and can be worked on using Bluetooth. However, not much is known about the mouse as of now.

The other side of the Xoom tablet is that it is still backward in the race of Asus Eee Pad, Blackberry Playbook, Samsung Galaxy Tab and Apple iPad 2 as per Amazon’s best selling tablet listing.

It is built on Nvidia Tegra based 2.1 GHz faster dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM. It comes with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, a 10.1-inch display with 1280×800 pixel resolution, 16GB onboard storage, a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera with an HDMI output facility. It has all required networking capability like 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support.

This latest offer has been announced by Motorola so as to attract customers as the sales of the Xoom tablet have been relatively very low. Still, Motorola is said to come up with the Xoom 2 tablet by this year end.
