It seems like a price war is going on among the carriers that are going to stock the much hyped handset, the HTC Sensation in their UK stores even before the availability of the device in the UK.

Vodafone is offering the handset via MobilePhonesDirect on a two-year contract for £25 per month. With this, you will get 500 minutes, unlimited texts as well as 500MB of data allowance per month.

However, if you want to grab the device directly from the operator, then the cheapest Sensation deal starts from £36 per month which is bundled with 900 minutes, 2GB BT Openzone Wi-Fi access, data allowance up to 750MB and regular internet access across selected European countries up to 25MB.

When compared to the Sensation deals offered by the other two carriers T-Mobile or Three, the Vodafone’s tariff is cheaper at £25 per month.

HTC Sensation is first handset to be powered by Qualcomm dual core system on chip running at 1.2GHz. It features video playback via HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 4.3-inch, 540×960 qHD screen and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The handset boasts of dual-LED flash and comes with a front facing camera to allow videoconferencing.

The Sensation which comes with Super LCD screen technology weighs just 148g and is 11.9 mm thick. It also has five sensors, a 1530mAh battery and onboard GPS. With all sensational features built into it, HTC sensation is going to be another super Smartphone from HTC like its predecessors.
