LG Optimus 3D

If you have been waiting for the much rumoured first ever Three Dimensional smartphone, the LG Optimus 3D, then your wait might be possibly longer than expected.  According to online retailer Clove, the LG Optimus 3D is unlikely to land the UK market before June of this year.

Clove is showing the release date of the handset as June 6 2011 on its website. Earlier, the device was said to be released on April 25 2011 by other online retailers such as Play.com as well as Expansys, however with a higher price than that of Clove.

The SIM free handset comes with a price tag of £450 on Clove where as you can own the handset from Expansys and Play.com by shelling out about £510.

Coming to other service providers viz. Three, Vodafone, Orange and T-mobile who are also looking forward to offer the amazing 3D handset, have not mentioned anything about the handset’s online price.

The LG Optimus 3D which boasts an attractive 4.3 inch glasses-free 3D screen comes with loads of many other fabulous features. The smartphone will come with Android 2.2 OS, which is likely to get Gingerbread update later.

However, no UK release details have been revealed by LG officially as of now. So, we need to keep our fingers crossed to see when exactly this revolutionary handset will be out.
