LG’s latest Android Smartphone, the LG Optimus Black is all set for a release in the UK by the end of this month. Though there is not much clarity, Orange and T-Mobile seem all set to bet on Black. As Black does not really seem to be top class, Orange is expected to offer it for free on some tariff plans.

LG Optimus Black is Android 2.2 based Smartphone with interesting features. It is interfaced through 4 inch NOVA display which claims to provide optimum brightness and is most readable under any sort of lighting conditions.

The 109g weighing Android device is just 9.8mm thin. As per LG, it should consume 50% less energy when compared to other phones in the market, which should increase the battery life substantially. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz processor, which makes it to be fast enough and comes with a 5MP camera, which is capable of shooting HD quality video.

It is already known to us that T-mobile is geared up to offer the Android 2.2 Smartphone. The device might also be available on sub-contract of £30-a-month.

The handset is expected to arrive Europe this month. Later, LG might release the device in the US and other Asian markets as well. Those looking for white and pink models will however have to wait till their release in June.
