Motorola confirmed release of Motorola Xoom in UK Market
April 6th, 2011 by Dipak Sarda

To keep up with cut throat competition in Smartphone and Tablet markets, Motorola has confirmed the release of its first ever tablet Motorola Xoom in UK Market. If everything happens as per the plan, the super gadget should be available in UK in April Month itself.

Timing is very crucial as there are two more tablets going to be coming into market to test their acceptability with consumers. Asus Eee Pad Transformer and another one from Acer, Windows 7-based Acer Iconia W500 are also going to be released in same timeframe. All three, including Motorola Xoom, are Android 3.3 (Honeycomb), latest version of Android specifically developed for Tablet devices.

Motorola has its own set of armor to stay ahead in competition. It is built on Nvidia Tegra based 2.1 GHz faster dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM, combination of both makes it to be faster amongst its comparables. It comes with 32 GB of internal memory, with an option to extend through MicroSD card support, which makes it virtually un-limited storage for a tablet. It also comes equipped with a 5 Mega-pixel rear camera and 2 mega-pixel front camera with an HDMI output facility. It has all required networking capability like 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth support.

Motorola Xoom has updated itself with Flash support capability for UK release and as per news around in market this is going to be available at £ 599.
