Motorola have come up with another touchscreen feature phone for the UK market in the DEFY mould called as the WILDER. The handset is expected to be available from the Carphone Warehouse in July with a price tag of £49.95.

The Wilder will prove to be a choice of many people which is a more affordable version of the DEFY. Coming to the specs of the feature phone, it features a dust and splash resistant design. This would be the best mobile for those working on a construction site or for those who would carry the handset to the beach as one need not worry about the device falling in a puddle or in sand.

The handset sports a 2.8-inch capacitive touch-screen, FM radio, microSD support, Bluetooth, a 2 mega-pixel camera as well as onboard memory of 5MB. It will also come with a 3.5mm headset and a micro-USB charger.

The Motorola Wilder is also bundled with good amount of software along with social networking applications such as Twitter, Facebook, Myspace and Youtube. It also includes Opera Mini for internet browsing and embedded games such as Need for Speed, Tetris and so on.

All in all, the Wilder would grab the attention of those looking for a durable handset and as such Motorola anticipates selling it in good number.
