HTC Flyer is the first Tablet range device from HTC, which already established itself as Premiere Smartphone manufacturer. The new HTC Flyer is now officially available for pre-order today from retailers Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy. The price tag of the HTC Flyer starts from £599.99 onwards.

The 7-inch tablet having all the expected tablet features is available in two flavors. One being WiFi + 3G enabled and other being only WiFi enabled. The later one is not available for pre-orders right now, but is supposed to be cheaper than the other one and tentative pricing of the same is £423. Both of them are built over Android 2.3 and augmented by HTC Sense UI.

The HTC Flyer supports 32GB of internal storage. The device costs £20 more than the 9.7- inch iPad 2 with similar specs. Additionally, it will also sport a web browser fully compatible with Adobe Flash 10.2 footage so as to give tough competition to the already leading Apple iPad.

The Flyer which boasts Android 2.4 Gingerbread boasts a 5MP camera around the rear along with a 1.3MP snapper up front. Moreover, the device is also expected to get a Honeycomb update shortly post its launch. The release date of the Flyer is anticipated to be officially out in the official HTC press conference to be held in central London tomorrow.
