Samsung’s another FroYo update in UK

Samsung is continuing its trend of offering FroYo updates to its mobile first in Europe with yet another update in UK. Samsung has announced Android 2.2 or FroYo update for its Samsung Galaxy S across UK. It is providing the update through its support site.

Irrespective of their network carrier, all Samsung Galaxy S users can now upgrade their Android version to Android 2.2 (also called as FroYo). Availability of upgrade in Europe is after it has launched the same in Canada. In Europe also, UK is two months behind the schedule. While the upgrade is already made available in most of European territories, it is been made available now after two months.

This new upgrade will enhance Samsung Galaxy S mobile phones with new features, which are part of Android upgrade. It now allows Zoom functionality over home screen along with new set of Google Applications and enhanced Exchange support. It will also improve the texting experience of Samsung Galaxy S users with its new enhanced keyboard available with new version of Android Mobile Operating System.
