Virgin Mobile is the sixth UK mobile service provider which has got the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play phone up its sleeve. The operator will offer the handset for just £35.74 per month to the Virgin Media customers. However, non Virgin Media users will have to shell out £5 extra.

The device is available on either 2 years or 18 month contract. The most expensive monthly contract of £45.96 allocates you with 1500 minutes, umlimited texts and 1GB of mobile internet. You can also grab the Xperia Play by shelling out £30.64 along with a basic handset cost of £99.99 so as to get 800 minutes.

Moreover, Virgin Mobile’s tariff plans are almost similar to the tariff structures offered by the other service providers. If you want to own only the handset at a lower monthly cost then you can go with the third parties like Buymobilephones.net without entering into an expensive contract.

For a total cost of ownership of £490 one can get 100 minutes, 100 texts and unlimited data by T-Mobile which support the backend infrastructure to Virgin Mobile.
