
Samsung has unveiled another smartphone, the Samsung Wave 723, powered by its latest bada operating system. The smartphone will come in metallic chassis bundled with bada features like Social Hub/Buddies Now Functionality.
The Samsung Wave 723 sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen coupled with an application-centric interface. The handset will provide easy access to downloadable applications along with integrated social networking experience.
The handset comes with the Social Hub feature, thanks to the bada OS using which users can stay connected with their near and dear ones. The smartphone boasts a 5-megapixel camera coupled with LED flash and a dedicated camera button. It also offers support for Wi-Fi Wireless-N and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity.
The handset which comes in a metallic chassis and a trendy back cover has a thickness of just 11.8mm. Its leather flip cover not only protects the touchscreen but also gives an enhanced appeal to the handset.
The Samsung Wave 723 is expected to be available in Germany in September 2010 and is likely to land other European markets along with Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East later on. However, there is no information as to when Samsung might offer its bada-powered Smartphones in the US market.
