Text messaging has never been as easy as it is turning out to be, thanks to Swype text messaging. Swype was available on select Android handsets only; however Nokia Smartphones can now get a hang of it.

The Beta version of Swype for Symbian platform is now available to Smartphone users with Symbian for S60 5th edition. In effect, it is the Nokia 5800, 5230, X6, N97, N97 Mini and C6-00 users who can experience the power of Swype.

Nokia has staked claims that Swype has seamless integration with all applications on the handset thanks to Symbian input method.

A continuous movement by one’s finger is all it takes to trace the path and recognize the word. The user is provided with options where there is lack of clarity and when you are in control of things, it should be possible to input above 40 words per minute.

Feedback is sought by Nokia from users across the board so that it gets to know the effectiveness and efficiency of Swype. Positive feedback is surely going to result in Swype being made available in more and more Nokias.

Nokia has got a 4 star rating so far from reviewers on the Nokia labs site. So, it is time Nokia users be game to the all new way of texting.
