Three UK users finally to get FroYo updates on their Samsung Galaxy S

Finally users of Three mobile services are about to get FroYo (Android 2.2) updates on their Samsung Galaxy S. Three has confirmed the availability of the update.

3-logoThese updates will be available to users in the form of message informing to download the update through Samsung’s KIES tool. Samsung does it bit differently while others do the same kind of upgrades over-the-air, Samsung does it through Samsung KIES tool.

This version upgrade will allow Galaxy S users to experience new features of the FroYo. FroYo comes with Flash Support, faster responses of JavaScript on web browser and portable hotspot capabilities. Apart from that this will also improves the user experience with improved user interface features.

Using the portable hotspot feature, now users can convert their Samsung Galaxy S into their wireless hotspot and can get any of your WiFi devices like Laptop, iPod touch or iPad online. This feature also called MiFi will enable to create a portable WiFi network. Improved JavaScript now allows selection and copy paste or cut paste of text over the web browsers. And finally with Flash support now users can all Flash supported video over their mobile phone.
