March 2nd, 2010 by Dipak Sarda

Nexus One Handset

Breaking news from reliable sources – Vodafone seems to be in a tie-up with Google for selling Google Nexus One.

Starting April-10, Vodafone seems to be planning to sell the Google Nexus One smart phone in the UK. This could be a serious blow for the HTC product “HTC Desire” which is being launched at the same time in the UK.

As per reliable sources, starting 1st of April 2010, the HTC Desire is being launched for sale on a 24 months contract on T-Mobile at Mobilephonedirect for as little as £30 per month.

Interesting news from the news paper “Telegraph” is that this phone, which is the first consumer device from Google, will be available from April as confirmed by the sources close to both companies. However Vodafone confirms the launch of this product the coming spring.a

Also this newspaper says that similar to the competitors like the iPhone currently being sold by O2 for a contract price of “£35 per month with 600 minutes and unlimited texts”, the contract price of Nexus One is going to be comparable as well.
