Nokia’s latest Business Smartphone Nokia E7, which is already available in India and US, has started shipping across UK through online stores. You can now grab the Nokia E7 Smartphone from Three stores and via Three.co.uk.

Nokia E7 Smartphone is interfaced through a 4 inch AMOLED touch screen and powered by Symbian^3 mobile operating system. E7 is the latest Symbian addition to the Smartphone range of Three.

Its touch screen can be tilted and mounted at a angle, which perfect to enjoy its multimedia capabilities and exposing its full QWERTY Keypad, which makes it to look like a micro laptop and makes it texting friendly Smartphone for typing intensive business activities. This makes it a perfect choice as Business Smartphone.

The Smartphone is equipped with a rear 8 MP dual flash enabled camera with capability of 720p HD video recording. It has a secondary front facing camera, which generally useful to make video calls and is of VGA 640 X 480p capability.

It is also armed with all business essential software like Quick Office, Mail for Exchange, Adobe PDF reader and Ovi maps, which comes with free GPS navigation. Nokia E7 coming to the UK

After four months of delay than originally expected, Nokia E7, which is more like its predecessor Nokia N8, is available for pre-order on T-Mobile and Vodafone.

Nokia has announced this high-end Symbian mobile Operating System based Business Class Smartphone during its Nokia Word last year. It has four inches sliding AMOLED touch screen, which can slide up to reveal its full QWERTY keypad. It is more or less look alike to its predecessor Nokia N8, with advanced features which may include 8 megapixel camera, HD Video capture, HSDPA, WiFI Capability and comes along with 16 GB of internal memory. Its availability was earlier slated on December 2010, but after a four months of delay, it is finally in market. T-Mobile and Vodafone has announced its availability in a month and started accepting pre-orders.

The plans around the phone look very competitive, which as per the sources may be available at £ 35.00 per month. This plan may come along with a package of 600 free minutes, 500 MB of data and unlimited texts.

Nokia’s first launch in New Year – Nokia E7

Nokia E7 is going to be first handset from Nokia, which is going to be first UK launch in New Year. Last updates during ending of 2010 have confirmed the launch date in US to be mid of January 2011, but there was no news regarding it launch in UK. Current news confirms its availability in UK by February and few retailers already started taking Pre Order bookings.

UK retailers have started listing Nokia E7, latest Nokia’s Smartphone based on Symbian^3 mobile operating system, on their websites and in fact started taking per order bookings with February 1st as expected shipping date.

Launch of this business oriented Symbian based handset has been delayed many times till now, similar to launch of many of the Symbian based handsets. This Handset is a real mobile office with mail Exchange facility providing almost real time email access. The handset is powered with office applications to view and edit office documents and pdf viewing capability and access to faster intranet access within built in VPN.

With all these powerful office supporting features, this has been most awaited launch in this New Year and especially SMB users.

3 UK hints delay in availability of Nokia E7 till early 2011

3 UK has recently updated its website stating that new supposed to be flagship handset from Nokia, Nokia E7, will be available on their network in early 2011 instead of December this year (as stated earlier).

Nokia-E7-300x285Amid of speculations about delay of its flagship Smartphone launch, Nokia has confirmed availability of Nokia E7 from December this year. This hints at possibility of other networks providing handset earlier than 3 UK.  In fact other networks like Expansys have already started taking pre order bookings and it has even removed their availability date of January 10, 2011 hinting at early available of the handset. Others have been taking pre orders at heft price tag of £ 584.99.

As posted earlier, Nokia has pinned lot of hopes on this new release and expecting it to become a flagship handset. Positioned in the range of high end Smartphones, Nokia E7 is equipped with features to exceed expectations of users. It is fitted with 8 megapixel camera, interfaced through 4 inch ClearBlack display fitted into aluminum case, built on latest version of Symbian (Symbian^3) OS, which can also be interfaced through sliding QWERY keypad. Handset does comes with an internal memory of 16 GB and only limitation to foresee is non availability of option to expand internal memory.

The globe’s biggest mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia has revamped its popular ‘Brick’ communicator phone into a sleeker and jazzier handset christened as the E7. The full QWERTY Smartphone was launched on September 14th at Nokia’s annual World Event in London.

The E7, called as the ultimate business smartphone is expected to go on sale on January 10th, 2011 as per the UK online retailer Expansys. The Nokia E7, an apparent heir to the N900 is said to be available for £585, which is higher than the N900’s price of £340 from Play.com or the N8’s price of £330 from Tesco.

The handset, which is basically a Nokia N8 with a keyboard sports a 4-inch TouchScreen display, an 8 Megapixel camera which helps you shoot 720p video apart from clicking stunning imagery. The device which is powered by Symbian^3 OS comes with a HDMI connector plus USB on-the-go functionality.

The handset packs 256MB RAM along with 16GB onboard memory. The handset also comes with a 680MHz ARM11 SoC and a 1200mAh battery which lasts up to 18 days on standby & 9 hours while talking.

The E7 also has business features including support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, Microsoft Communicator Mobile, Microsoft SharePoint Server, and Mail for Exchange. Unlike its predecessors, the Nokia E7 will sport colours viz., Silver White, Dark Grey, Blue, Green, and Orange.

By Q4 of 2010, the Smartphone is expected to hit the stores with a probable price tag of 495 Euros. The Nokia Communicator phone was the first business phone from Nokia in its Communicator series and was once considered a status symbol by the business tycoons.

Nokia Communicator was known for its bulky looks weighing 397 grams and now Nokia has made a sleeker snazzier lighter handset weighing just 176 grams ( heavy by today’s standards though).

The E7 has a 4-inch TouchScreen display, an 8 Megapixel camera which helps you shoot 720p video apart from clicking stunning imagery. The handset comes packed with a 16GB storage and the battery lasts up to 18 days on standby and 9 hours while talking.

Evidence for Nokia’s efforts to slim down its products is a new yet to be launched Nokia E7 Smartphone.

Nokia E7 has an array of features other than just Symbian^3 OS. It is Nokia’s first 4 inch device with touch screen that can deliver best image possibility. This E7 is made up of anodized aluminum casing, which makes it light while being incredibly strong. This measures 14 mm, which makes it even more compact.

This Nokia E7 is worked out to be a replacement for existing Nokia N97 Mini, which has a horizontal QWERTY keypad sliding beneath this shining screen.
